Then why did they ignore the Russian offer to supply them with power-plant grade uranium?

Iran plans to enrich uranium as part of its experiments with the nuclear fuel cycle. Why should everyone else worry about that? Looks like they are trying to use it as an enegry source. Regards, Nish

They have already said that Israel is a "blot" and it should be "wiped off the map". So, yes, it seems reasonable that they are going to use it for peaceful purposes. "When only the police have guns, it's called a Police State."

Iran removed U.N. seals on uranium enrichment equipment and resumed nuclear research Tuesday. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060110/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iran_nuclear Gee, I sure hope the U.N. writes a really nasty letter. My mom told me once that "while we all don't speak the same language, everyone in the world undestands an asskicking"

The UN is worthless. They wont do anything, at most they will just talk about it. "When only the police have guns, it's called a Police State."

WHAT? What is going on here? Did someone forgot to tell Bush that there are oil in Iran? They are jealous of us and they hate America and freedom. We must liberate the people immediately. And this time, the people will really throw flowers at out feet and welcome us with open arms. Who need the U.N or Old Europe? we can do it with just 10000 soldiers this time around. Disclaimer: The message above is not intended to annoy anyone. Anyways, I use my real name so I think I am ok.:-D

We found biological laboratories … And we'll find more weapons as time goes on. But for those who say we haven't found the banned manufacturing devices or banned weapons, they're wrong, we found them." —Washington, D.C., May 30, 2003 "But all in all, it's been a fabulous year for Laura and me." —summing up his first year in office, three months after the 9/11 attacks, Washington, D.C., Dec. 20, 2001 "I know what I believe. Well, not *they*, it was their prime minister, who does not really hold the power. That is held by the Ayatollah, and he has distanced himself from the PM after he made that ridiculous comment. BTW, the PM is a socialist. But anyway, what the fuck do they want with nuclear power? So they can get their hands on the technology and expertise needed to enrich weapons grade uranium! The whole "civilian use" explanation is a smokescreen.

Not really. If they drop a nuke on Israel, Israel and the US will turn Iran into a big glow-in-the-dark hole in the ground, and they know it. They might be "zealots" but they aren't that stupid.

Quotes taken out of context don't really do much for me. While Bush is no Reagan when it comes to public speaking, it does give him a certain charm. It's actions that I'm more concerned about. And I don't agree with all of Bush's actions, I'm happier to have him than Kerry. My mom told me once that "while we all don't speak the same language, everyone in the world undestands an asskicking"

Not really. If they drop a nuke on Israel, Israel and the US will turn Iran into a big glow-in-the-dark hole in the ground, and they know it. They might be "zealots" but they aren't that stupid.
