DOTD: Dilbert Of The Day. DOAPD: Dilbert Of A Previous Day (I think). The latter came about because the original DOTD was posted to the Lounge technically a day late. As for ROTFL : Rolling On The Floor Laughing. And one for all techies to know when asked an idiotic question: RTFM ("Please read the manual" or something like that ;p).

ROFL, ROTFL, ROFLMAO, ROFLMFAO "Rolling on the floor laughing (my fucking ass off)"; as a reply to something extremely amusing, sometimes purposely misspelled as "ROLF". Note that LMAO, ROFL, and ROFLMAO are the most common of these.[^] I love Wikipedia! :) Edit: i like this one: TIADBIMBSHMGROI :-D

Oficially: Dilbert Of A Past Day - Vikram posted the english translation of the spanish Dilbert OTD, which lags far behind the dilbert.com DOTD. (When he first did this (as "DOTD") I was confused because I remembered it from seemingly long ago. I wasn't sure though because my timeline memory is phuketed up so much you can hide twelve "I killed my grandfather" paradoxons in it)

Nope - read Peter's explanation below. Cheers, Vikram.
