      What existing system?

I don't know. You tell me. I still don't know what you want.

I can't tell you want to do because I don't know what you want/need. if u want to develop an inventory management system. Then just look at the following points get details for 1) Material Gate Entry 2) Goods Receipt Note(GRN) 3) PO(Material Purchase Order) 4) BOM(Bill of Material) 5) PPC( Production Planning and Control) 6) Stock Statements I am giving you the direction for thinking only, this is not a complete solution. Scarry, they dont have an architect giving direction. http://www.sdmagazine.com/uml/[^] Learn UML before you start coding. Write the problem in use cases and "realize" the solution. DOnt just write your first thought as a solution. It will get you in the end. Do the database last. 1 line of code equals many bugs. So don't write any!! -- modified at 9:43 Friday 20th January, 2006
