Hi CPians, I am looking for packages of free fonts (I am to print the invitation cards for my wedding :-O). Yes, I have already googled for it, and lost me in the jungle of links it returns without finding anything suitable. (I was honestly not always sure whether the fonts were free or whether it was more or less a warez site, so I did not take anything :~ ). So do you have any hint ? ~RaGE();

First up, Gratz on the whole Marriage thing. Nice. Regarding fonts, I have a bunch of CD's at home with fonts on, all "Royalty Free". Now I'm not suggesting I send you these (tho' if you're really desparate...), but have a look around your local computer-games shop (didn't check where you're from - in the UK go to Game, PC-World, even Woolworths). Usually there's a spinning rack of cheapo CD's - on there companies like Softkey (I think) often do CD's of Royalty-free fonts for about 5 quid. Usually for a few thousand fonts. Not free, but stupidly cheap. Could be worth checking out.

Also, I just remembered Font Foundry[^] - a while back I was really "into" fonts (does that sound wierd?), and this was a good resource of free (or cheap) fonts. I've lost most of my bookmarks for decent collections these days, but FF may be useful.

There's a site called 1001 Fonts[^] that has a fairly good extent of fonts to choose from ... but site navigation takes some getting used to ...
