Hi all, I am having problem in opening any asp.net project, which has been developed on any other PC. I took a project from my friend developed on his PC and it is not opening on my PC. I have made a virtual directry in IIS 5.0 and changed authentication mode="Forms" authentication TO authentication mode="None" (NOTE: <> tag has been removed here, as it was not displaying in the message..) but it didn't work... I am using: Version Information: Microsoft .NET Framework Version:1.0.3705.0; ASP.NET Version:1.0.3705.0 and don't know on which version it has been developed... Please help....... Here is the error: Server Error in '/thetre' Application. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- File or assembly name System, or one of its dependencies, was not found. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Exception Details: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: File or assembly name System, or one of its dependencies, was not found. Source Error: An unhandled exception was generated during the execution of the current web request. Information regarding the origin and location of the exception can be identified using the exception stack trace below. Download .Net redistributable v1.1 from Microsoft website. This should solve your problem regards, Mircea Many people spend their life going to sleep when they’re not sleepy and waking up while they still are.
