hai I am doing project in vc++ i have to known about how to allocate space for a my application from the harddisk,and also if i want to run any application it has to be run from ny application .Give some idea to partition the harddisk ok.

For partitioning: (Now pay attention here) open a command window and type format C: don't press enter though. That's all you need to do. Check on it every few hours. This process can take a long time. To allocate space for your program do: Windows Explorer->File->New Folder, follow the prompts from there. I also suggest you learn C++ before asking questions about it.
