Sadly, there are too many in the west who seem to believe this is more of an example of what it wrong with western culture than what is wrong with Islamic culture. I generally characterize such people as "leftists", but I actually don't know what to call them anymore. One would think that even the most committed socialist would be concerned about this new cultural phenomenon. Hell, especially them. So I'm not sure what to make of it politically. Who ever they are, it is becoming increasingly apparent that if we are going to have any kind of a western culture left at all, we are first going to have to deal with those elements of our own society who are holding our hands behind our back while Islam smacks us around. They have to be unveiled to have their photo taken whether they are arested now or later. And the men shot? No, I was just venting off. They need arresting too. In fact, these people should be hounded by the police because they are a threat to society. They ARE a major threat to society. 6 months ago these 'people' blew up busses and trains. Totally, I have been arguing that the behaviour of the extremeists is NOT part of Islam, and, to convince the wets that they CAN police their own religion, these extremeists need to be expelled from the religion. Whether they will or not is up to them, but these cartoons lampoon the atitude that Islam is a terrorist religion as much as they lampoon terrorism, and mainstream Islam needs to see that.
