Damn, you are good. I was hoping nobody would figure that out, how embarassing for me... (Actually it is for Mix06[^] but the date above is for when I arrive.) regards, Paul Watson Ireland Feed Henry! K(arl) wrote: oh, and BTW, CHRISTIAN ISN'T A PARADOX, HE IS A TASMANIAN!

"Quick Nick" eh? That's a bold prediction. My money if I had any would be on the "Iceman" and Mclaren. I haven't heard the new v8's yet but I imagine the engine notes are going to be much higher than before going past high pitch scream into buzzing territory. The first race of the season always seems to have a surprising result though so maybe it's be Super Aguri with some points.

If they can make the V8 and gearbox and chassis live up to his potential you mean? :)
A good driver knows how to finish races and still win (e.g. Schumi (back then) or Alonso (now).) ;) regards, Paul Watson Ireland Feed Henry! K(arl) wrote: oh, and BTW, CHRISTIAN ISN'T A PARADOX, HE IS A TASMANIAN!

Yeah I guess if your definition of good is "boring", no one's every going to shackle the Iceman into that dead eyed corporate lackey harness. :)
The guy is the most boring person off the track. On the track he makes for some good spills, but that isn't racing. :P Seriously though, he is a very good driver. He just needs to, well, finish. As a fan of his you can't demand he drives his car into the ground AND be given some special treatment so that he wins. He can, and must, push his team, but within limits. And he needs to smile a bit. Someone take that icicle out of his arse please. What happened to the interesting characters of F1? regards, Paul Watson Ireland Feed Henry! Huh! I guess Mix06 wasn't worthy of the Vegas convention guide, maybe they expect you to be all a bunch of spendthrifts. ;)

But he *is* an interesting character. What happened to all the rest is the recent Uber- corporatization and conservativism of the sport. It's like it's being run by insurance people or something. Besides from the rumours he's quite the wild man off the track as well, just not in the interview room.

He likes to party hard, dance on tables etc: http://sport.guardian.co.uk/formulaone/story/0,10069,1397892,00.html[^]
Yes but as a driver during interviews, around the pits, with the media, at launches, talking about circuits etc. etc. etc. he is a cold fish. Schmui leaps into the air when he wins, it is wonderful to see. Alonso grins like an idiot. Even old Nigel Mansell was a bit of a funny fella. What any of them do at clubs and in their private life isn't what I am interested in. I am sure that most of the drivers have had far wilder nights in Monte Carlo than Kimi's lap dance and strip. Anyway. He could smile more. He could show some joy and personality to the fans. regards, Paul Watson Ireland Feed Henry! K(arl) wrote: oh, and BTW, CHRISTIAN ISN'T A PARADOX, HE IS A TASMANIAN!

doI don't know if I agree with you, Schumacher's joy always looks kinda faked and forced to me like he's uncomfortable with it. Kimi is always described as cold by others but he always strikes me as being painfully shy in the interview room like a deer in the headlights.
