Anyone have a good tutorial that explains how to make insert/edit/update/delete and all using the new accessdatasource in visualstudios 2005 vb.net with dataview? I can't figure out how to do this on webforms. For the life of me I can't figure out how you go about making the on edit events and update events and so on. Thanks. Thanks. I went and bought a book called Beginning ASP.NET 2.0 programmer to programmer. It seems to be a pretty good book sofar. It will at least help me grasp the basics i thnk so i don't ask so many stupid questions. Also, any one recommend a book after the beginning book? Keep in mind I'm a newbie to this type programming and I would prefer something that isn't all drag and drop, the IDE is nice but I have seen it can cause headaches as well so most of the stuff I would like to code manually in the source and codebehind. So if yo know of any good books that would help me even more with datagrids and datamanipulation with vb.net in asp.net 2.0 that would be great. thanks again for such a great site.
