Sorry, but this is about as revolutionary as the four slice toaster. Don't get me wrong, the devices are handy and I am glad there is a drive to get them onto the market beyond just OQO and co. But a: the design is terribly uninspired and b: they are not revolutionary. They hype is way overboard on this Origami project. Next year when they release the quarter-inch versions I'll be more impressed. regards, Paul Watson Ireland Feed Henry! K(arl) wrote: oh, and BTW, CHRISTIAN ISN'T A PARADOX, HE IS A TASMANIAN!

I can buy a more functional laptop for that money! :) Totally unimpressed to be honest. Looks heavy too. Who is this aimed at exactly?

Go everywhere, do everything, eh? I guess if Drew Barrymore and her boyfriend had one of these they wouldn't have been kicked out of the opera house's women's bathroom for "doing it". It's interesting, the psychological difference between: Go everywhere, do everything and Go anywhere, do anything ;P Marc Pensieve Functional Entanglement vs. Code Entanglement Static Classes Make For Rigid Architectures

So, they announce a new hardware device using XP, when they're getting ready for the big Vista push? And what's with: Approximately 7” diagonal display (or smaller) Minimum 800 x 480 resolution Approximately 2 pounds Seems like the hardware specs have been written by our Plain English Osmosians. And its ugly. If you are going to have a big splash with a new product that you want to be the new must thing, need to try harder. Have they learnt nothing from Apple? Forst looks are everything. You can already get mini PC's smaller than a standard laptop from Sony.

Crappy hardware design!!! Why didn't they try to have one single hardware vendor and hire a couple of good designers ? The samsung looks real cheap !! 20th century PC design. The asus model is a little bit better; modern looking.
