OK, it's my turn to start a thread that gathers insignificant data about Lounge dwellers. I was wondering what the difference in height is between Lounge dwellers and their partners.

          Me - 188 cm 6' 2"
          Wife - 152 cm 5' 0"
          Diff - 36 cm 1' 2"

And short girls like tall guys. Maybe they are making up for something or just like having a guy that can make them feel very comfortable and safe. Imagine being short and amongst hundreds of average or tall people, must be pretty intimedating, so if they can get a tall guy who can "shield" them, then all the better for them. But you are dead right, short and tall go together (though not often short man, tall woman, which just goes to show how shallow women can be sometimes :) .) regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass Cape Town, South Africa "The greatest thing you will ever learn is to love, and be loved in return" - Moulin Rouge Sonork ID: 100.9903 Stormfront

Why? She complaisn when I come home late, she wakes me in the morning, she expects me to put food on the table every day (yes, she's reluctant with eating from the ground, although she has to), she expects care and cuddling most of the time - only not when I'm in the mood, but when I work she wants to sit on my lap, when she's telling me what she wants it's often in this "you know what I mean and if you don't I'm not going to tell you" way, she usually sleeps in my bed and occupies most of the blanket. Apart from that, the relation is platonic ;) BTW. reply-to-wrong-post happens sometimes. AFAIK Chris has stopped trying to fix it.

Really!?! :omg: I always figured that the Netherlands would probably be like my family reuniouns. (I am from HUGE, mostly Norweigan family.) The vast majority of us are 6' 4" tall, (plus or minus an inch), with only a couple of guys significantly taller. How common are people of the lofty 6' 8" + heights there? Are any of them Ladies? ;) I have always wanted to move to the Netherlands, considering my weakness for tall women that would be just one more reason. Jason Jystad Cito Technologies www.citotech.net Sonork ID 100.9918 >-------------------------------------------------< Every program has at least one bug and can be shortened by at least one instruction -- from which, by induction, one can deduce that every program can be reduced to one instruction that doesn't work. >-------------------------------------------------<

(Any viking ancestors?) :omg: The current Dutch youth is quite tall. How common are people of the lofty 6' 8" + heights there? Are any of them Ladies? I don't have the true facts, but some of the girls approach my height with a few even top me! I do think your choice would be somewhat limited, considering you weakness. (how about this tall blond, a friend of mine) But, as the Dutch girls are the best looking in the world :) (at least my opinion), do migrate! VictorV

As far as vikings go, who knows, lots of farmers and craftsmen in the family tree but that doesn't mean there aren't a few of the pillaging variety too. :) Victor Vogelpoel wrote: (how about this tall blond, a friend of mine Holy mackerel! What a gorgeous pic! The waves are pretty too! ;) Victor Vogelpoel wrote: But, as the Dutch girls are the best looking in the world (at least my opinion), do migrate! A good friend of mine has actually spent some time in various parts of Europe and he said the same thing. And he is from the same part of America as I am, so he doesn't even have the native bias going. :) I actually really would like to spend some time living in Europe, and the Netherlands would be my first choice. Heck, if I like the Netherlands half as much as I suspect I would I would probably want to move there permanently. :) Any idea how hard it is to get citizenship or at least resident alien status there?
