replace old DLLs in WINXP

hi, got a problem in winxp, that makes me unable to run "Add/Remove Windows Components " or bootvis. am getting the error messages telling that the dlls has missing procedures , f.e the WmiOpenTraceCursor in ADVAPI32.dll and faxOcmSetupProc in fxscom.dll, and for some other components the same error . can anyone help plz? thx

Try to run the commnd SFC /SCANNOW in the command prompt. You should prepare CD windows because it will require to replace any file that is corrupt too.
