Yes there is such a thing.:( I developed an Atlas project with timed updates and after two ticks the app crashes. I had to uninstall and reinstall and try it on a different machine to really believe what I saw.

Unfortunately I've had it crash on me about a dozen times. And when it does crash I have to go to the task manager to kill the process. It’s difficult or impossible to have any large app without bugs.

Yeah I've had the same thing with long running/complicated javascripts. Fortunately there's Session Saver .2d[^]

Found on Bash.org [erno] hm. I've lost a machine.. literally _lost_. it responds to ping, it works completely, I just can't figure out where in my apartment it is.

SessionSaver, I've found, is the source of lots of crashes and memory problems. Try Tab Mix Plus[^] instead - it's stabler and has more features too.

It's pretty easy to crash FF: just throw an embed object on an HTML page but don't properly close the tag. Discovered this yesterday.

I had it crash on me once with the following scenario: I cleared all of the cache files then exited the program. The next time I opened the software and went to clear my cache, as soon as I selected the Clear Private Data screen, Firefox crashed. So I did what anyone else would do - I restarted and then tried to clear my data from the Options screen. Well, lo and behold, as soon as I selected the Options screen, it crashed again. I uninstalled Firefox, deleted the application data directory and reinstalled and it works fine. Don't know what happened. Regards, Brigg Thorp Senior Software Engineer Timex Corporation

I've never had IE crash -- NOT! It crashes about twice a week on me. ---sig---

As a nightly tester...I can sympathize with the experience. This thing crashes on me frequently. :)
