German blogs recently linked to an audio tape which was.. more elaborate. Basically, a radio station is running a "Find if s/he's cheating" action: if you suspect your partner is seeing others too, you can call, and they act like someone who went through hoops getting the phone number to get a date with them (with everybody listening). At that very occasion, the other guy picked up. Both quickly embark on a "she's my GF" shoutfest. Turns out she got a week schedule for the two (Mo/Wed/Fri/Sat the one, Tue/Thu the other), this was running for half a year, because she couldn't decide, and wanted "more time". Of course many claimed "fake" quickly (because it was just too perfect for such a show), but I guess we'll never know. (As for myself I wish I could so firmly believe)

Because it distracts them from their own.

People should laugh of their own misfortunes. It already happend and it's nothing you can do anymore about it. After you have drawn the conclusions and checked for your part of the harm, it's better to put it aside and joke about it. No need to spend the rest of your life carying that with you. You'll just put on weight and that's really not that good for your health :-D regards, Mircea Many people spend their life going to sleep when they’re not sleepy and waking up while they still are.

I do when I look at the dumb algebra mistakes that cost me potentially good test scores in my junior college calculus days. Now, some fifteen years later, I still really check the math :)
