I hope none of the companies I work for see this Bounty to 'upgrade' from exchange to Lotus notes[^] Anyone know where the person who thought up this idea lives? I feel a T2 moment coming up. Gary Flickr Photos[^]
That explains the "out of the blue" dictat from head office that we're all moving to Notes in the next couple of months. '--8<------------------------ Ex Datis: Duncan Jones Merrion Computing Ltd

Why would anyone expect that a product that has to PAY you to use it would be any good? LN sucks (a case study in how to create a bad UI, IMO). LN email can't be much better. Absolute faith corrupts as absolutely as absolute power Eric Hoffer All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. Edmund Burke

At the risk of incurring wrath, I'll say this. I have been in the industry long enough to use a number of e-mail applications: VAX/VMS Allin1 cc:Mail Lotus Notes Microsoft Outlook (In that order.) Lotus Notes as a mail client, worked. I didn't try to stress it and use all of the bells and whistles, I just used it to do my job. I get VERY annoyed with Microsoft and their bloatware, but, since they are the market leaders, and, by and large, big companies are like lemmings (follow the leader), that is what we have to use.

The funny thing is that, aside the article, there is a Windows Server 2003 banner. :-D ___________________________________ Tozzi is right: Gaia is getting rid of us. My Blog [ITA]

Try out Groove[^] instead. I hear it does the same things, but much better. I had to use Notes years ago. I'd slit my wrists before I'd do it again! David Veeneman www.veeneman.com
