    how can i change the url of the content page in contentPlaceholder. Currently it is now allowing to specify the url of content page. I have a page in another folder. How can i achive this

      In the content page's source view there should be a page directive at the top. With in the directive there should be a masterpagefile="yourmasterpage.master". If you don't have one you will need to add it and intellisense should take care of the rest. Since your content page can be in any folder with in the application, it should the be the masterpagefile tag's responsibility to point to the correct masterpagefile. e.g. if the masterpage.master file in is the root directory, all of the contenct pages that use this master file should have the masterpagefile tag equaling "~/masterpage.master", regardless of their physical folder location.
