ftpd needed for windows
-
Can someone suggest a lightweight FTP server daemon for Windows? Light weight as in: 1) Windows only, not cross platform 2) No interface required, just a simple daemon which accepts requests, etc... Hopefully very well known, open source, implemented in C++ compiles with any C++ complier NOT just VC++... Secure and light weight!!! Cheers :) It's frustrating being a genius and living the life of a moron!!!

http://www.warftp.org/[^] We use it at work and have been pretty happy with it. ¡El diablo está en mis pantalones! ¡Mire, mire! Real Mentats use only 100% pure, unfooled around with Sapho Juice(tm)! SELECT * FROM User WHERE Clue > 0 0 rows returned Save an Orange - Use the VCF!

I used to use war ftp server years ago, and stopped because of something in the license file... I will have to go read and see if it is still there or see if I can find an old copy lying on a disk somewhere and find out why.... _________________________ Asu no koto o ieba, tenjo de nezumi ga warau. Yeah, I noticed that when I first started to look into it. The guy has a serious anti-renob for gov't and military uses of his software and explicitly forbids it. There was some story that he attached to this, some bitter experience he had (I don't recall what exactly it was) with his own gov't that prompted his reaction. ¡El diablo está en mis pantalones! ¡Mire, mire! Nope... found the actual license agreement... this was what did it... anyone employed also, not just the government itself:
is released to the public under the following conditions: 4.You are **not employed by** any governmental institution or agency, the army or the police, or by any leading political organisations in any country. 7.**You may use** this source code, technology or methods **in conflict with the local law** if the local law conflicts with basic human rights, the freedom of thought and speech, human dignity, your religion or your sincere beliefs. 9.Universities and other civil educational instritutions can use this source code, technology and methods as part of the education of their students. **This does not include classes that teach students that most likely will be employed, or are employed, by** governmental, military or mainstreem political organisations in any country.
