There is always this site[^]. Good Luck. Chris Meech I am Canadian. [heard in a local bar] When I want privacy, I'll close the bathroom door. [Stan Shannon] GOOD DAY FOR: Moonlighting, as porn star Savanna Samson has launched her own wine label. Her Sogno Uno, an Italian red, received an "outstanding" 90 to 91 score from influential wine critic Robert Parker. "I wanted to do something my parents could be proud of," she said. I think it's the people in the Ambulance that are the most important, any vehicle that can carry a stretcher and some equipment is a good ambulance provided that it's staffed with a good driver and emergency medical technicians. Many years ago I used to work in the forest cutting cedar shake blocks for various private companies. There was a law that if you had x amount of crew over a certain number you had to have an onsite medic. Usually we ended up with a lady who sat in an old truck all day reading books in the middle of no where, some places you couldn't even drive to, everything had to be barged in by sea. Trouble was that working in the "bush" as we call it is pretty dangerous and any time you're working with axes and chainsaws on enormous cedar trees that are on average 10 feet across in diameter the injuries are usually beyond the means of the crew medic. Her job generally came down to being the person who kept the special radio that could call in the rescue helicopter, more than once we had to carry very large dudes in stretchers through bush as thick as a jungle to a place where we could clear an opening in the bush so a helicopter could land and pick up somone who was in a very bad way. I could tell you many stories about boots filled to the top with blood etc, but I'll spare everyone. So my vote would be for you to take your riches and buy a helicopter with trained emergency medial staff.

Hallo, An Helicopter would be nice, sure :) But... It is difficult to get an permission for a helicopter flight here. We have helicopters but you have to arrange 3 days in advance. You can't hire an helicopter just .... And don't forget it is very expensive. I worked on helicopters for a long time and on ambulances. I was a military paramedic ;) for 15 years before I started programming... :)

most townships and villages that are not large enough for full emergency services have volunteer emergency services. That might mean a stretcher in a guy's garage, prepped and ready to be tossed in the back of his SUV with a premium first aid-kit.... Inquire at your local volunteer fire department for you to be added to the volunteer emergency services list and get training. No need for the med-van unless the town can really afford it. The village of Through (if you blink you miss it, and "by the time you realize you are in Through, you are through Through"), had 50+ people last time I was there, everything was volunteer. _________________________ Asu no koto o ieba, tenjo de nezumi ga warau. The guy who wants to buy an ambulance lives in Laos, if I read him correctly. Most services in such countries are provided by the government.... if the government has the money. We shouldn't be referring him to an American supplier of ambulances; the roads may not be wide enough for them. He should buy a breadbox-on-wheels (Suzuki minivan), tear out the seats, put in one bed along one side, put in some basic first-aid/resuscitation/life-sustaining tools and drive like hell to the nearest doctor or hospital.
