My dog got whipped by a squirrel

Autre a Border collie terrier mix has always loved to play tag, which consists of touching the opponent then running away. This morning she decided the rabbits in the backyard were a little boring so she tagged a squirrel. It appears that wild squirrels do not understand the rules to tag which prohibit scratching and biting. Autre is now watching the squirrels from the safety of the chair by the back window.

We had a cocker spaniel that loved to chase squirrels. They would run up the trees, or hide in pipes, or sit on the fence, and just chatter at the dog and taunt him. On the rare occasions when he'd get close enough to touch them, they'd bite his face, making him all bloody. Squirrels are ****s. (And, evidently, some dogs are really stupid.) Jon Sagara Look at him. He runs like a Welshman. Doesn't he run like a Welshman? Doesn't he? I think he runs like a Welshman. My Site | My Blog | My Articles

We came home from a softball game to a dead mouse being flipped around the house by the cat. Sadly we were hoping for a dead rabbit, they are running rampant around here. Last year there were many baby rabbit heads turning up around the yard and and awful squealing noises coming from the back yard as the cats cleared them out, but this year no luck so far. Grim to some, but rabbits are not native to this area and are devastating the local flora and no doubt some fauna as well so the only good rabbit in these parts is a dead rabbit.
