Because I only have x hours per day, and x - 23.5 of them are taken up with other things. Post it in the suggestions forum, I think Chris is looking at possible statistics to graph. ____________________ David Wulff I watch how the moon sits in the sky On a dark night shining with the light from the sun The sun doesn't give light to the moon Assuming the moon's going to owe it one It makes me think of how you act to me You do favours and then rapidly You just turn around and start asking me about Things you want back from me - Linkin Park

I'm sad to say, Christian, that you I do not believe you going to last the week as the number one poster on the Code Project. Nish is now merely 150 or so messages behind you, and according to past trends is capable of posting that many messages in less than two days. I don' really think of it as an end of an era. It just means that Nish will be in his acendancy whilst Christian can go a and take a well earned rest (for a while - he doesn't was to become complacent). Cool sig - Linkin Park rule. David Wulff wrote: That is not taking into account his rising number of articles too! That is the sad bit, I would really like to be higher on the list of article writers. The post thing happened by accident, in that I had no idea until it was well and truly done, but there is no way in my current job that I could find the time to post as much as Nish does. Actually, since my holiday, where I spent a lot of time on a dinky desk writing an IOStream article, I have a lot of muscular pain in my back and arms, and I have no feeling in the tips of my fingers. So I'm trying to limit frivilous keyboard time as much as possible and ARGH !!gjgkljlkq23jellad Seriously though, it does hurt and it has been a factor in my posts dropping off. David Wulff wrote: And their songs are generally pretty damned relavent to my own life at the moment, so that is why I listen to them. Did you hear the fuss over people claiming some LP song caused someone to kill themself ? It's the same old story, it used to be Judas Priest ( someone SUED them by claiming the subliminal message 'do it' appeared in a song of theirs, if you've not heard their songs they are generally about overcoming oppression, not bowing to it, so 'do it' couldn't possibly combine with any of their lyrics to mean kill yourself ). Oh, and Ozzy 'Suicide Solution', a song about how he knew that alcohol was killing him. 'Wine is fine, but whiskeys quicker, suicide is slow with liquor'. These people don't even listen to the songs, I am sure. David Wulff wrote: Don't go and get RSI just to stay near the top, that wont so anyone any good. Had it, getting it again, not much I can do. I asked the doctor and he said was there any chance of my not using a PC for a while. Well..... no. But I sure am not posting just to stay near the top. I've just read rant n rave and I'm a bit worried about Nish. I hope overtaking me has not become an issue for him in a negative sense, I've always said he's welcome to it.
