Free POP3/SMTP Mail Recommendations
-
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good free POP3/SMTP mail client that you can also view the messages online? The reason that I am asking is that Micro$oft is going to start charging for HotMail and Yahoo is going to start charging for their POP3 service. I use Yahoo, and have for years. I knew the free service could not last, but I don't want to have to pay $20/month to download my email to store/view on my local machine. Thanks. They're charging if you want to store more than 2MB of e-mail; you may even get POP3/SMTP access if you pay, I never looked into it. Microsoft is now charging $19.95 for keeping your email account indefinately some additional storage, and some spam filtering. It will not be long before they charge for the whole thing. Here is a link to a news article about Microsoft. Here is the news link about Yahoo. Roger Stewart "I Owe, I Owe, it's off to work I go..."
