Google Desktop Search ... Annoying

I know its been around a while but I just installed it today and tried it out ... it asked me to close Outlook and Firefox :^) ... being a huge fan of google technologies for a moment there I thought I did something wrong. Even when I tried uninstalling the program it asked me to close Firefox and Outlook ... this has been the most annoying software I've ever downloaded ... hard to believe it came from google. Timing is Everything

I remember spending 2 hours uninstalling some program from McAfee. That was annoying! Eh? This is common for installers from many companies. At least it didn't ask you to reboot like installing WLM did. WTF does an IM need to reboot my machine for? regards, Paul Watson Ireland Feed Henry!

Yup, it installs plugins/extensions for firefox and outlook - that's how it monitors their content to make them searchable -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit! Buzzwords!
