From a quote: "C# is a simple, modern, object oriented, and type-safe programming language derived from C and C++. C# (pronounced "C sharp") is firmly planted in the C and C++ family tree of languages, and will immediately be familiar to C and C++ programmers. C# aims to combine the high productivity of Visual Basic and the raw power of C++." If C# is a simpler version of C and C++, shouldn't it be called C Dull? Maybe the VB portion redeems it from the doldrums...? Just wondering. Take Care God Bless... Are you just trying to ruffle feathers? What is the point of this posting?

'Maybe' being the imperative word. Josh

After reading more.. C# really is not connected to C++ in any way. So many things in programming are either built onto C++ or the C++ name... using the popularity of C++ to its advantage (and confusing C++ programmers at the same time).
