NOS was also the name of a proprietary operating system on the CDC Cyber mainframe; in the early 1980s it was replaced by NOS/VE. Even if you were to find it, you couldn't use it without a simulator. _________________________ Asu no koto o ieba, tenjo de nezumi ga warau. I was joking - NOS == Nitrous Oxide == laughing gas, so chemical abuse could be thought of as "downloading". :)

I would imagine that what ever you used to post your message was on a NOS, in which case you already have one.

Google sez NOX is nitrogen oxide, not necessarily NOS (N2O). But i'll gladly admit no expertise in this area. :)

I suspect our very superstitious Gov't is forcing denatured NOS onto the racer / industrial users now, out of fear that the pure stuff will end up being huffed. Kinda like how you can buy grain alcohol by the gallon for shellacing, but pay a bit more if you buy the stuff that can be consumed in a mixed drink...

tuned cars can have it to get better acceleration performances... see this[^] (NOS is a trade for "nitrous oxyde").
