Microsoft spokesman says "While PC-to-PC Sync is a great feature that improves productivity and collaboration we don't have it at the quality level our customers demand,As a result the decision was made to remove it from Windows Vista." If Microsoft customers wouldn't put up with it one can only shudder with the thought of how bad it was John Saxby

I'm sure that's just the public reason. The internal reason can be anything, including another lawsuit for patent infringement (come on, somebody must have patented PC-to-PC synchronization) to, frankly, another FUBAR side project. I mean, just look at this sentence: While PC-to-PC Sync is a great feature that improves productivity and collaboration It's a great feature (not an idea, mind you, but an existing feature) It improves productivity (not intended to, but does) It improves collaboration we don't have it at the quality level our customers demand If it's not at the quality level customers demand, then how is it a "great feature" that "improves productivity and colloboration"??? So for whatever reason that they're not telling you, they canned it. Marc Pensieve Some people believe what the bible says. Literally. If they were TRULY concerned about the level of quality their users demanded, they'd delay shipping Vista until it was more stable - say... 2012.
