The majority of the citizens in India are Hindus. I did not even imply that you are a Hindu. Becuase most Indians cannot afford software becuase of the exchange rates( according to you), and that the majority of the citizens are Hindu, it leads me to conclude that they have no alternative but to steal software(you also made that point). Becuase most people in India are Hindus, and most software is pirated in India, my statement is quite accurate. BTW why are you insulted? Is it bad to be a Hindu? Anyway, Indian citizens aren't the only ones who use pirated software. China has over a 90% piracy rate.

INDIA: Population 1.1 Billion (900 million Hindus 140 million Muslims and rest Christians.) Some Notable Contributions to the World: "0", Hotmail (Sabeer Bhatia), Manoj Shyamalan and USA. Yes USA! Columbus set out to discover India and found North America. No India No America!! Indian Economy: SO called rich battling 40% income tax, corrupt beauracrcy and extreme poverty with 400 million people living on just 1 square meal a day. Exports = 0.67% of World Total (with 20% of World Population!!) India's Past: Glorious, with untold number of Kings,Queens, Empires of Gold, great art and literature. India's Future: Very Bleak. India might actually show interested people how Nazi Germany mauled the jews in the coming years. We have a powerful Hindu Nationalist party wth 25 million storm troopers spread across the country keeping tab on the minority. Recently, all minority establishments were burnt down in an Indian State called Gujarat along with 500 people including women and children. A data collection process is going on as I write for all names, establishmenst of minorities in India by extra constitutional authorities. Fourth Reich? I dont think, therefore do I exist? I can't answer as I dont think.

I mean the convicts had control of everything seeing as they were worked and starved to death while the Poms had the guns and power.

I dunno the exact def; of religion, but i think atheism and religion in the same sentance is like a oxymoron no...? I feel strongly about being nothing(atheist) yes, but I dunno if this qualifies as being religious...??? What an interesting topic to bring up on CP... Way to go...you have offically confused the hell out of me... :) Is this an example of a paradox...? Cuz i'm certainly confused. The answer to your paradox is very simple actually. As an atheist you claim there is no God/Supreme Ruler/Force/etc. and that the material world is all there is. However, because you do not have a 100% perfect knowledge of the universe and it's workings, the x% that you don't know about could hide the supernatural that you claim doesn't exist. Therefore, your claim is a faith based claim on the nature of the universe and qualifies as at least as a metaphyiscal claim on the nature of the universe, equal to all other 'religions' Where the difference resides is that 'Religion' usually includes other trappings, such as common rituals, dogmas, etc. that Atheists tend not to have as a whole. Personally, I feel that an ardent atheist is just as 'religious' as I am.
