Tata Broaband the worst .. [india specific]
-
Just an advice for the Indian crowd here. Never opt for any Tata Telecom products X| X| please. I took a Broadband connection 3 months ago But if you sum up the number of days I've actually used it, would come to around two weeks. It works for 3 days and the fourth day the 'WAN' indicator light starts its ****ing blink :wtf:. Tata has the world's worst customer care. They read all dumb scripts in an effort to convince us, that irritates you more and more. Three days back I called them they said, "Sir, it's not a problem with your end, our server is somewhere down around Mumbai."..when I called my friend's to check it, he was online and playing YPOOL!. Next day I called them, they said, "we are upgrading our hardware sir"..bullshit! how can you just ditch all your customers and upgrade your hardware. He's lying I know they are yet to identify the problem. They have the worst infrastructure. I really miss AirTel :(.. they are really good. The moment you call them, they are at your door steps. I have AirTel connection at my home town. I hardly had any problem connecting to the internet or with my telephone. And the infrastructure they have is excellent too. So if you have any idea to go in for Tata, just ditch it:doh:.

You do realize that "ta-ta!" is slang for "see you later!" in some languages (for the life of me, I can't recall which at the moment, it seems so ubiquitous). The Tata company is founded by the Tata family :-) I vaguely think they are Parsis (could be wrong). Regards, Nish

I believe it is (though not very common) - but usually by kids or when you talk to kids. Two adults ta-ta-ing each other (verbally) might seem a little odd. Regards, Nish
