All these years I've been doing the right thing, drinking coffee all day, beer all night, with liberal doses of pizza. It's nice to finally be vindicated!:-D Drinking Coffee Reduces Harmful Effects of Alcohol[^] "...a photo album is like Life, but flat and stuck to pages." - Shog9

Always drink beer before coffee; we'll be happy (I mean healthy) forever and ever. - It's easier to make than to correct a mistake.

Thank you, Captain Obvious. Oh well. I'll just selectively cull the information from this article and present my pro-pizza & beer argument to my wife tonight. That's good news. Now if someone would make a new drink out of coffee + beer. Now we need a kind of food to counter coffee and we would have a perfect meal.

A true compromise would be something called "red beer", which is sort of a local favorite here. It consists of Budweiser and tomato juice, and is every bit as bad as it sounds... X|

Note the article about coffee - cirrhosis is no problem. If 1 cup a day lowers the risk 20%, and 4 cups 80%, logically it follows that 5 cups reduces it 100%. As for obesity, do they really think that 340 16-oz curls isn't exercise? Not to mention at least 17 round trips to the restroom - that's gotta count! I tried that, but I'm off Bloody Marys since I pissed off the bartender and she left a string in my drink. Besides, the vodka has none of the beneficial effects of beer, and red beer is as nauseating to taste as it is to look at. "...a photo album is like Life, but flat and stuck to pages." - Shog9

A true compromise would be something called "red beer", which is sort of a local favorite here. It consists of Budweiser and tomato juice, and is every bit as bad as it sounds... X|

Beer and tomato juice is the best way to wake up in the morning. I've even used it to assist with brushing my teeth. :) Fortunately here in Canada, we also have V8 and Clamato juice as great sustitutes for plain old tomato. Oh and along with beer and tomato juice for a morning wake up drink, you can enjoy pickled eggs at the same time and get a full days complement of all your protein needs. Enjoy. :-D Chris Meech I am Canadian. [heard in a local bar] When no one was looking, every single American woman between the ages of 18 and 32 went out and got a tatoo just above their rumpus.
