What do you eat for breakfast?

I'm curious, what do CPians eat for breakfast? My routine, having given up caffeine some time ago, is a glass of chocolate milk and 2 chocolate Pop Tarts. :)

Interesting! I've never heard of anyone drinking diet coke in the morning. :)

That's true, it's Pepsi Max you should be drinking in the morning. Michael Martin Australia "I controlled my laughter and simple said "No,I am very busy,so I can't write any code for you". The moment they heard this all the smiling face turned into a sad looking face and one of them farted. So I had to leave the place as soon as possible." - Mr.Prakash 24/04/2004

Steel cut oats with diced apples, chopped walnuts and cinammon (no maple syrup--kicked that habit about six months ago!), and an egg, done medium (my girlfriend prefers her egg soft, and my son prefers his egg hard), sunny side up, with oregano or basil. Sometimes with some salsa. On Saturday, usually the same thing, but we add bacon, and Sunday's I'll often make omlettes instead. All organic. :) Marc Pensieve Some people believe what the bible says. I knew you'd have some crazy breakfast, Marc. :) I was just about to ask, "how the heck do you have time for all that before work?", but I just remembed you're a contracting man, so I suppose you're in no hurry to go anywhere.

Most mornings I have coffee and instant oatmeal. On the off chance I have a dollar in my wallet, I get Pop Tarts out of the vending machine and have those (like this morning).

Wow. Can I come over for breakfast? :) Don't you go to work in the morning? How do you have time for all that? Who's making you that food?

X| Oatmeal is so bland. Only way I touch that is if it's doused in brown sugar.

I work from home most days, so just bring my laptop into the kitchen and browse CP while stirring the oatmeal, etc. ;)

True, my commute takes about 5 seconds. Basically, I get start the oatmeal, which takes about 1/2 hour to cook. Fire up the computer, check email, codeproject, and weather. When the oatmeal is done, start the eggs and dice up the apples. Serve! Actual time in kitchen is probably about 10 minutes tops. My son does the dishes. Occasionally I get distracted by CP and burn the oatmeal, hehehe, but my girlfriend has figured that out and watches it for me. :) (She's got a 45 minute commute and a lot to get ready in the morning, in case you're wondering.)
