what are other fathers doing for today?

Carrying on like normal, until the second Sunday in September when the real Fathers Day arrives. Michael Martin Australia "I controlled my laughter and simple said "No,I am very busy,so I can't write any code for you". The moment they heard this all the smiling face turned into a sad looking face and one of them farted. So I had to leave the place as soon as possible." - Mr.Prakash 24/04/2004

My kids just woke me up by jumping on me in bed... my wife came in shortly after with my laptop bag and instructions that I wasn't allowed to come out until they gave the okay. A few minutes later, my four-year-old came back in with some measured out coffee beans, asking "is this the right amount?" Ahh... if only every day could begin like this! I got from the kids an invitation to see Cars later - what are other fathers doing for today?

Sigh... someone beat me to the post.... today, I could barely talk to my children without cracking up - mine range from 4 - 25, and I am truly blessed... Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there... for those of you with small ones, and lost sleep, and diapers, be patient, they won't be small forever. Be careful, they won't be small forever. Charlie Gilley Will program for food... Whoever said children were cheaper by the dozen... lied. My son's PDA is an M249 SAW.

That sounds absolutely wonderful. I'm glad you've had a great day. :) Today has been a tough day for me. It doesn't normally hit me this hard, but so some reason today I've found myself grieving over not being able to share the time with my kids that I would have done today had my marriage held together (which I strongly doubt it would have done, even if I hadn't transitioned). I may not be a guy anymore (and to be honest I never was), but I'm still their Dad - and always will be. :rose: I spent today being a mess, quite honestly. Church this evening helped a lot, but I'm still not quite back to my normal bouncy self yet. Anna :rose: Currently working mostly on: Visual Lint  Anna's Place | Tears and Laughter "Be yourself - not what others think you should be" - Marcia Graesch "Anna's just a sexy-looking lesbian tart" - A friend, trying to wind me up. It didn't work.

It's a long story, and one I've had to repeat far too many times already. My darling daughter (16months going on 16years) woke me at 4am, she got back to sleep, I wasn't so lucky. Around 6:30am she was up for good and we went for a walk around 7am. But when she smiles and says "Daadeeeeeee" or tilts her head and says "plees", my heart melts and I say, "Tired, me? Never!" :) Gary Flickr Photos[^]

It was supposed to bounce up and down as a visual cue for being boucy - (but that doesn't work visually) :sigh:
