According to link in the news letter you can run Windows on a MAC via 3rd party product. Anyone know why you would want to run Windows when you've got a MAC?

There is also a Wine for Linux (WINdows Emulator). Perhaps this is of the same flavor? Vasudevan Deepak Kumar Personal Homepage namespace LavanyaDeepak

Sure, how about all that software that's only available for Windows?

Exemple: My boss is an Apple user (I'm writing the WIndows version of his software) and he is trading shares. He has an account with a company which has a windows software to buy a sale share. They have no mac version. What does he do?

True, unless you run VS inside a virtual machine running Windows. I use Parallels on my Intel Mac and it runs VS at near-native speed, thanks to the virtualisation capability of the new Intel dual core processors. I also have Boot Camp so I can boot Windows stand-alone for more intensive tasks (playing games, making music etc). If it had 2 mouse buttons, my MacBook Pro would be the best piece of kit I've ever owned. I'm a Windows boy working in a design agency with 50-odd Mac users - it's great running OSX and Windows side-by-side so I have best of both. I never thought I'd say it, but I love my Mac! Not as much as I love .NET 2 though..... PB

For the price you will expect so!!! The Macbok pro is more expensive than the top of the range XPS laptop from Dell  BTW Apple has recently discovered the multi button mouse. They call it the mighty mouse[^] (not sure the link will work, it's a web app...)

To make it harder to use, less reliable, and less secure.
