We are based in the UK, but are considering opening an office in the mid-west USA (probably Chicago). Are there any good places to go / bad places to avoid? I'm thinking from a "where do we have an office?" and "where do we live" perspective. It's 13 years since I was in Chicago, so any local advice and knowledge would be appreciated.

Stick with the north side of downtown or northwest suburbs*. *Unless you want to locate 60 miles south of Chicago and hire yours truly at a premium rate. :-O "The trouble with jogging is that the ice falls out of your glass." - Martin Mull

Minneapolis / St Paul Area. :)

I'd love to help, but unfortunatley I have prior commitments monitoring the length of my grass. :Andrew Bleakley: -- modified at 16:20 Thursday 22nd June, 2006
