i do not know what bbs you mean but yes, she is real historical person, was law process with her and her helpers in bytca, they were executed, she ended with lifelong home prision at her own cachtice castle btw. drakul pointed his opponets to stick - this is way how are stories based, do you remember his book death? t!

Dracula was invented by 'Bram Stoker' who was from Dublin, Ireland. A place not far from my home called 'FairView', his house was originailly over-looking Dublin bay, but the land there has since been reclaimed. Regards Ray "Je Suis Mort De Rire"

Prince Vlad Tepes & Baroness Elizabeth Bathory. Must have been an interesting place to live in those times. Indeed, I have read that the real Vlad kept himself idle in his prison cell by staking vermin. Charming man :-D

But the idea was based on 'Vlad the Impaler' wasn't it? Paresh Solanki Today is the tomorrow you were worried about yesterday.

There's a program on C5 (UK) about the worlds most evil people, and I think Vlad is on it next week. The article also mentioned Bram Stoker, so I thought they were related. Paresh Solanki Today is the tomorrow you were worried about yesterday.

That is correct, Dracula was based on Vlad Tepes. I think Vlad is an Rumanian nobility title, while Tepes is Hungarian meaning 'impaler'. Curiously, Vlad Tepes father was called Vlad Dracul due to his cruelty. That seem to have been a common trait among rulers of that region... /moliate

jancsi wrote: I live in Transylvania but I am not Dracula , and there is no Dracula here... My girlfriend is from that region (Hungarian minority). Her parents moved to Sweden some 20 years ago. After meeting her father I think I have found the explanation for that... /moliate

It´s the guy responsible for not let Dracula´s coffin fall in the wrong hands (Dracula 2000). In Bram Stroker´s book he is one of the guys who capture the vampire. Mauricio Ritter - Brazil Sonorking now: 100.13560 Trank My latest article: Pentominos - A C# implementation of the famous Puzzle Game
