OK, let's face it: I am stubborn, conservative, and dislike hype. But after trying Opera 9, this browser is here to stay. God, I love fast and lean software.

Showing appreciation to those working hard to maintain the beauty of programming is a great thing. Most of us use IE because it was part of the OS and we have never tried to evaluate others - I use both Firefox and Opera (Opera for temp and quick access sites). Best regards, Paul. Jesus Christ is LOVE! Please tell somebody.

I was just glad to see the got rid of many rendering bugs. Have not dug enough to see what is left though. For me, I could never switch to Opera as I am totally sold on the extentions that come for Firefox. Rocky <>< Latest Post: Visual Studio 2005 Standard, whats missing? Done that a year ago and never looked back. Erhmm... tried Firefox ones or twice just to find that I can't sacrifice any percent of speed Opera gives to me. Does anyone know any *good* substitute for VS2005 & VS2003 ? Best regards, ----------- Igor Sukhovhttp://sukhov.net

Another convert! I've used Opera as my main browser for years, I find very few sites that don't work with Opera these days, only 'obscure' ones like CP:^)

I used IE until I found firefox - loved it - I'm now running vista beta two at home with firefox and IE 7 installed and I find myself using IE 7 a lot more than Firefox. I've use Firefox for ages but I just find IE 7 to be quicker - probably because of the lack of optimisations of FF for Vista but for the time being I'll use IE 7 most of the time. I'm not developing websites very often so I can live without most of the firefox extensions that I find useful (I have little use for most of them) - the only extension I miss is the blinklist toolbar. It's not installed on my work box, but IIRC O9 final does work with CP. You might need to spoof your ID though. Ony thing I use aty home O doesn't work with is the bookmark feature in baen's ebooks. Thier web designer say it's missing the XXX event and he can't find a work around.
