I think there was a problem with calculating membership. I had the same problem: been a member for over two years with posted messages, but my profile still listed me as a bronze member. After this post[^] it looks like the problem got fixed. If you happened to post your 1000th message quite close to your one-year anniversary, you'll only be 'Silver' for that brief period of time between the two events. The ranks are computed by a scheduled job that runs every night if I recall correctly, so if both events happen on the same day you'll go straight from Bronze to Gold. I think I was Silver for about a week or so after the one-year anniversary and before the 1000 messages. Stability. What an interesting concept. -- Chris Maunder
