Last event we had severe thunderstorm passed by in our area. We lost power for 6 hours and for some colleagues they may have to wait for atleast 72 hours to get the power. The damage is so extensive, it looks like a Tornado went through here. But just the wind that too 90 miles per hour. At 6 PM, it's 98 degrees and then within an hour wind, hail and rain. I have never seen weather like this in my life. See the pictures here Yesterday evening[^] Day after[^] Update : National weather service just issues another severe storm warning for St. Louis!

Sorry to hear that. Seems like everyone in my family has been in a tornado. 1. My dad and I were at the farmhouse when one hit. Took the front porch off the house, the front of the barn off, and a shed belonging to a neighbor down the road lifted up and was dropped in one piece in a haying area. 2. Tornado Tuesday 2003. Tornado chases from all around the country were following the cells including National Geographic. The town of Manchester, South Dakota (our family farm in only a couple of miles from it) was completely destroyed. There were less than 20 people living there at the time. There is now a beat up sign saying Manchester with an arrow that points to a dirt road and no houses. It's creepy. My uncle was living at the farm and he didn't get hurt but a lot of family friends did. 3. My aunt's house was hit a couple years ago. The farmhouse was just about destroyed. She moved into town. I saw golfball sized hail two summers ago. BTW, don't get hit by them. They left a couple of nice welts on my shoulders and back. Best of luck to you all in the area. Stay safe!

I knew a guy that freaked out about his car getting pounded by hail, so he ran out to move it before anyone could tell him to stop. He made it about halfway before he was knocked unconscious. Some guys had to run out under a folding table to bring him back in.

I was watching the Braves vs Cardinals game and heard all about the severe Thunder Storms. I got a little nervous when I did not find you online. Glad to see that you are fine.:)

I had a personal best last year...I had to leave where I was on account of four tropical systems: Cindy, Denis, Katrina, and Rita.

Sounds like a normal mid-summer day in Bullhead City these past two years... Stay inside, away from windows, tremble in fear - the gods are angry this season. "...a photo album is like Life, but flat and stuck to pages." - Shog9
