If God created the world in 6 days, and rested on the 7th day, what was he doing in the 8th day? If He rests on Sunday, why do we go to church on that day and bothering Him with prayers? If God is the Creator of Heaven and Earth, before the Heaven was created, where did He live? Think, think, think...... I just love thinking. Thanks God for giving me a brain.

Sabbath is the sevens day and that is our saturday. So Sunday is the first day in the week.

This is a philosophic question. If God has created everything, he seems to have infinite powers. If he has infinite powers he can do everything, even something we might not understand.

Get some popcorn, hide behind a bush, and sneak after Adam. Because we are assholes, if we have to suffer, everyone else has to suffer, too. God was the universe. Next question?

If you insist on believing in the bible 1) go to the soapbox, because intelligent discussion about religious topics is not possible. 2) don't eveything by the word. That goddamn *g* ;) book had been written more than a thousand years ago ans translated many times.

That's not true. Well, I believe and the bible and I had intelligent discussions with atheists. If you don't take everything personally it's possible. - But of course not on a board...

I changed the quote, left out a word and placed three points. But with the rest of your arguement you are right. First written by humans and not god, secondly translated multiple times since more than 4500 years. And who says the a day in heaven has the same length like a day on earth? Actually the first Bible writer was Moses, about 1500 B.C., so we are talking 3500 years, not 4500. Even though the Bible has been translated into many languages, this is not a matter of being a series of translations from one, to another, to another... The Bible was originally written in three languages - Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic. Origin manuscripts are not available, but many very old copies of Bible manuscripts in the original languages are available. The Dead Sea Scrolls, for example, date from about 100 B.C. and many Bible books are included in them. Most modern English translations are based on accurate compilations of ancient documents like these, so if you are looking at a good translation then you are looking at something that is very close to the original. As to "written by man, not God", there are many prophesies written in the Bible that were fulfilled centuries after they were written. Only God knows the future.
