I firmly believe taxes should be as low as possible. (Or non-existant)

Except, that'll never happen. After working for the Dept. of Energy, I can vouche just how much the govt. doesn't mind spending money.

I have a Sai and an Escrima, two Tonfas, and a Bo. But I don't have a katana because I've got two little brothers (5 and 7) who like to play with sharp objects. ;P

All roads? All? And who collects the toll money? And what about public transporation? Would the bus driver have to keep track of all the roads on your route to charge you accordingly?

What better way to teach them not to touch.

I think that could be figured out in advance and the fares set appropriately.

All of the decent roads I need to drive on are toll (which is like double taxation). I wouldn't be against taxes so much if the government the collected it and spent it was honest, ethical, and efficient.

self training? does one have to belong to a martial arts club? I took martial arts in college, so I am not unfamiliar with about half a dozen arts, but I prefer just practicing by myself rather than competition. If I could train without competition, I would jump for the school.

So why pays for the schools, police officers, military, firemen, healthcare, etc? If you had to pay for these on an as-needed basis, it would be far more expense than what taxes currently are. There are many services offered to us that could not be managed effectively under any other system.
