How in the world does she manage to get the temperature inside her car to 200 degrees? When it's 105 here, the temperature inside my car is 120-ish. With the sun-shade up, I can get it down to 110-115 range.

200 sounds a little too hot.... I mean, the interiors of cars have lots of plastic. Last time I put plastic in the oven with my cookies it didn't fare too well. Maybe they mean the foil and pans get up to 200?

I've seen several sources that say that cars can heat "up to 200F" in the summer with all the windows closed, although more often 170F is listed. I would suppose it all depends on where you live.

I used to cook burritos and gorditas in my car all the time. It actually works quite well, sometimes too well since temperatures changes increase or decrease the time to cook. Cookies are probably safer than burritos, but hey I live in the SouthWest the temp doesn't "normally" drop under 95 in the summer so it works quite well.
