I was reading In The Hand Of Dante by Nick Tosches[^], but had to stop. It was the best written crap I think I've ever read. I was half way through the story with barely a glance at the plot. Mostly irrelevent drivel about the author and his look at the publishing industry. So I've since returned to finish The Wisdom Paradox: How Your Mind Can Grow Stronger as Your Brain Grows Older[^]. Pretty interesting so far. Also, my friend has let me borrow Artificial Intelligence: A Modern Approach[^] until he heads off to school next week. Way too much information in that for me to grasp in a short period, but an excellent overview of AI, and one I will definitely purchase for myself at some point. -- modified at 0:29 Tuesday 8th August, 2006 Oh yeah, and Learning C# 2005[^] by Jesse Liberty. Good intro text.

"A Great Improvisation". I bought it at LAX, for the flight. It's OK, but the amount of detail makes it suffer, IMO. I don't care so much whose nephew Franklin played with, a broader brush stroke would give me a clearer picture, IMO. It's interesting to me how much the US owes it's independence to France, however.

I have just finished reading Atlas Shrugged[^] A lot dramatic and very long, but in essence it advocates the idea of objective reasoning. I liked the book, although certain ideas are stretched too much in the book. So far I have read Standing Alone in Mecca[^] Engaging India[^] Da Vinci Code[^] Alchemist[^] and few others this year. And offcourse I spend some time with tech books too. But i generally never go through the tech books from start to end. They are generally for reference or some intersting topics. I have just started reading Who says elephants can't dance?[^] Ankita

hi, Everybody replied with their fav books, i have read most of them -- all the Grishams, 2 and a 1/2 of Dan Brown [I have read half of Angels & Demons then i left it coz i didn't have any time for it], AI A Modern Approach [although it is not a novel] . . . :laugh: Now i am reading "The Hammer Of Eden" by Ken Follet, then i will be going to the next and my fav novel Harry Potter Vi -- The Halfblood Prince . . .
