I don't know if any of you have been receiving spam from these trolls but they seem to have increased their activity in the past few weeks. Beware of them because they are definitely nefarious. X| The Fifth Third Bank – the name should send up red flags in the first place. And I quote – "The Fifth Third Bank Technical Department is performing a scheduled software upgrade to improve the quality of the banking services. By clicking on the link below you will begin the procedure of the user details confirmation." :~ Be afraid - be very afraid! :rolleyes:

I've been getting several from Commonwealth Bank and St. George. Check the sample below, it looks pretty good to fool moms and pops out there (with all the banners and images). Obviously, the link didn't exactly bring you to the correct place. I love living in the UK - mainly because none of the phishing attempts are clever enough to realise that I'm not in the US. My Chase checking account needs me to check my details? Really?
I actually received the same email this morning except it was alleged to be from The Bank Of Scotland.

Yeah, I find them amusing, as they are NEVER for the bank I am with. Not that I'd click on them if I was, of course.
