Countdown to 31

By the time I post this, you'll be 31. I know what you mean. You're now 'in your thirties'. Well, I am 37, which means I'm in my LATE thirtes. Still, I'd be more upset about it if my life sucked now as much as it did when I was 22.

Oh yeah. I know what you mean. My life completely sucked in exactly 1994. If you ever had a trend graph of high and low points in my life, 1994 would be the trough. But I'm always thinking my life right now could be better. I could be richer, happier, more friends, less stress. But who am I kidding, so is everyone else, right?

Yeah, life can always get better. In my experience, it generally does, if you apply yourself to things. The only thing is, the good stuff comes as you get older, and then some people can find they wish they were 20 again, but what they mean is they wish they had the stuff they had now, but in a younger body. And I don't just mean material stuff. I was a moron at 20. I'll probably think when I'm 50 that I was a moron at 37.

Beer belly. Now, I drink a lot of beer. I'm Mr. Pub. But I'm forever thin. Up to a year ago I used to have a full gym membership, only to try and tempt a bit of weight onto me, but only in vain. All my brothers, and my father, has got enourmous bellies, but I seem to have skipped that one!

Ohhhh your in for a surprise. I was bone thin and a rail of a kid and used to have contests as to was thinner. Fast metabolism.. After a while in my thirties, ok maybe working at the computer and eating good food, and drinking Guinness regularly had something to do with it, I developed the infamous beer belly and am now a whopping 200 lbs. Being 6 foot tall helps to spread it around a bit, but my friends who remember what I used to look like are still in shock.
