ok I'm craving

World Cup was nice... NFL Training camps are nice... French Tennis Open was great with Federer/Nadal... US Open will be nice... I do love summer but when my sports site talks about cricket for the first time in 10 years [^] (title translates to Cheating, even in Cricket)... it means only one thing, it's time for hockey season even if it means that fall comes with it and that I hated them during last year's lockout. NHL is still too far away, but as a small help to beat the craving, junior major camps have started and we'll have a great team this year! Can't wait for another season of the coolest game on earth :-D Flame away for those who live in summer all year long!

Your choice, I just had to vent. Worst part is that I know that a few months into the season when games have no interest towards the final standings I'll regret wishing for the fall/winter to come and hope I could go back and flame myself for this post.

I'm jealous of that, but somehow it's easier to convince my girlfriend to let me watch a hockey game on a Saturday night than to get 10 monitors for my home PC setup :-D

HollyHoo, I am with you. I have an 8-year-old who asks me every day: "Dad, when does hockey season start?" I asked him if he was anxious to start playing. He said: "No. I can't wait to watch on TV." Hockey on Saturday night can only mean one thing... da, da, da, da, da... HNIC! Go Leafs Go

You won't find 10 monitors at home here either. Though the PC is nothing to sneeze at. :)

Remind me in a few months. ;)
225 years ago, we set an example for the rest of the world by creating a country where everyone could vote...
Well, except for women and black people, but we fixed that!

Count me part of that as well, I would rather be doing something than watching any sport. Life isn’t a spectator sport, get outside and enjoy life. :)
I'd love to help, but unfortunatley I have prior commitments monitoring the length of my grass. :Andrew Bleakley:

No, they either have played them and don't care for it, or would rather play the sport than WATCH it! ;P

 I live in summer and winter all year long. Where I don't live is ... in front of the T.V. I might watch 1 hour of T.V. a year but I wish I had more time to watch some of the discovery channel programs on wildlife. I'm going to try and make some time to watch those with my son. We've watched a few and he digs them. They make a good intro to bed-time. He sits in one place and sleep slowly starts to stalk him down. It's only a matter of time before it comes in for the kill.:-D
I only read cp for the articles.
