So what's going on with that screensaver? Who called in sick X| and is working on it? Can't wait to see it. Marcus Make no little plans; they have no magic to stir your blood to action. Make big plans, aim high in work and hope -- Daniel Burnham

I know, I was going to post a message as to what the current update is. It would be Nice if Chris could allocate some space for a Code Project screen saver thread of it's own. :-D :-D :-D Chris - Am I asking nice enough? Nick Parker

I was kean until, I found it was limited to Managed C++ or C#. I might still do one when the XML feed becomes available. Regardz Colin J Davies

It's not limited to managed C++. "...the staggering layers of obscenity in your statement make it a work of art on so many levels." - Jason Jystad, 10/26/2001 Please review the Legal Disclaimer in my bio.

I was chatting w/Chris over MSN and he said he wouldn't turn away a normal (I refuse to call it "unmanaged" ;P) version, but I guess the contest is for managed only. --Mike-- Actual sign at the laundromat I go to: "No tinting or dying" Like the Google toolbar? Then check out UltraBar, with more features & customizable search engines! My really out-of-date homepage Big fan of Alyson Hannigan and Jamie Salé.

Hey Mike, have you thought about doing an IE explorer bar for CP? I was thinking about having a go myself when Chris puts the XML feed up but I'm way too busy to even think about it at the minute, and wouldn't mind if you (or anyone else) used the idea first, if it attracts people to the site. -- Andrew.

I think it would be better if we were all left to try and think of something cool. A spec would mean we'd have a lot of screensavers all the same. Erik T did a mock-up of an explorer bar (left side, like history) and I implemented a really simple one that just had a few links (home page, lounge, etc.) as a prototype. Chris's idea for a real, useful explorer bar would work best if CP ran web services, which Chris has been working on for a long time now. --Mike-- Actual sign at the laundromat I go to: "No tinting or dying" Like the Google toolbar?
