What are you favourite programs for convertng your audio and video files suitable for playing on your ipods and other portable video/audio media players.

I just rip all CDs to mp3 using media player, copy them to the mp3 drive, and play them from there ( my stereo is plugged in to my PC, and is also acting as a stand for a monitor, and the speakers with a board across them hold up the main monitor ). Then I just copy the files into my Muvo when I want to travel with them ( usually just when I go overseas, otherwise, I hardly leave my property anymore.

VLC[^] can do transcoding too, although it's been hit-or-miss for me when converting to MPEG. However I just used it to convert the Mac Break[^] shows into MP3s and it worked great.
