They're also really annoying conversationalists. I mean, i thought potheads were bad, but at least potheads just waste a lot of time stating the obvious and laughing about it. Methheads don't seem to even bother noticing the obvious, they just keep talking, a mile a minute, about whatever pops into their heads. It's no wonder they have such a reputation for violence - they probably need to start shooting or brawling every now and then, just to give their jaws a rest... As long as the reaction is aimed at those responsible for whatever the outrage is/was and that ALL Muslims must not be tarnished with the same brush otherwise the reaction to the reaction could be so great that the USA might (so to speak) grind to a halt for fear of who is standing infront or behind you. Everything in moderation should reap desired results.

A few years ago there was a news story from the small town i live in about a meth user who was on a bad batch, and came home and shot his mother, and if i remember correctly his grandmother too.

Considering the comments made by Espeir and others (including your good self)in earlier threads over the months, illegal Mexican seem to take a lot of blame for what appears to trouble you Americans, or have I read those postings incorrectly. For all I know, those meth drinking louts could easily fall within the context of the paragraph immediately above. Sorry if you were offended.

First, I do not own any guns. Just never found hunting fun. Where I live, we need people to hunt the land. Otherwise there would be too many deer, cougars, turkeys, geese...you name it. However, I don't think you need a 9mm to shoot a duck. I think that yes, we have the right to bear arms, but here is what I think the restrictions should be: 1. You can own a shotgun or rifle if you prove you have had a hunting license in the last five years. 2. No one should be allowed to own more than 2 handguns. Why? Because if there was a revolution you only have 2 hands. More than that is overkill. (Pun intended.) I don't understand why people horde guns and have their own arsenal. I don't understand the joy of shooting targets, animals or anything else. So while I agree with you to a certain extent, stop putting us all in one category! :-D

Sometimes i think you europeans are jealous of our right to bear arms. I am 16 and have 2 rifles and about 500 rounds of 7.62x39. i doubt that would be legal in your country, but it is here. :)

Most rapists don't announce their plan, they catch their victims unawares. Most women who have a weapon aren't able to use it when they are raped. A far more better protection is art of self-defence.

Indeed. A gun is only good if you have enough time to spot the danger, get the gun out and conjure up enough courage to use it. If you don't, the risk of being overpowered and killed is very high. There are many simple and effective techniques for disabling (at least temporarily) an attacker. It just requires some practice. :)
