Looks like they haven't updated the download page yet - here's a link to the English version: http://www.mozilla.com/products/download.html?product=firefox-2.0b2&os=win〈=en-US[^]

Try this link instead http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/2.0b2/[^] I think they are updating the page with right links.

I've just realised that I've hit beta overload. I see the word "beta" and I now get heart palpitations. Will it work? Will it break stuff? Why is it being released to the wild when it's clearly been marked as buggy pre-production software? Is it beta because they are too scared to make a stand in case there are bugs? Is it beta because they want to look cool and hip? Is "beta" the equivalent of putting "GT" after a car's name? Whatever happened to: Here's my product. I hope it works for you as well as it works for us. Enjoy. :~

            cheers, Chris Maunder

Both of them crash quicker, so...

I agree with you, but am also guilty of jumping on the "beta" bandwagon. I think the term beta is now interchangeable with "will anyone use this crap?" and if not, well it's just a beta, wait for the real version. I'm thinking about stepping it up a notch to Gamma, so people don't puke. :)

I used it. But i think using Internet Explorer in a Firefox Tab or starting the Internet Explorer is almost the same thing. That doesn't change the Internet Explorer :D. Btw. i LIKE the NEW Inet Expl. 7....

It's just a convenience... At least it saves having another tab on the task bar! :)

thanx, I don't mind testing folks s/w if the final product is made available at no cost. But I long ago gave up testing folks s/w who and the end turn round and say "Oh btw if you want to use the release version, you'll have to buy it retail!!"
