I'm not a big fan of italian food, but I enjoy pizza once in a while. Today I got a new taste: Shoarma pizza, a homebrew pizza with shoarma (doh), onions, paprica and mushrooms. It smells great, just a few more minutes before its done :D Was wondering, whats your favorite food.

Did you mean shwarma shawarma? If so, it sounds wonderful!

Some will say it's ham, but I'm also a huge fan of Thai and Indian food. /ravi

Sad, isn't it? :( I've been known to go through phases of food. It was ham sandwiches for almost a year - I still enjoy them, but don't eat them every day. I've been eating a grilled chicken whole wheat wrap with lettuce and extra tomato for lunch everyday for the past 5 months. /ravi

I ate steak, fries and salad for almost three years at home every day while I was in college. In college, I ate a burger and pizza every night for two years and during the day, I had an excellent club sandwich for almost two years straight. If something's good, it's good.

Yeah, me too. Although these are in my top ten, my absolute favorites are tabbouleh, tabboulit malfouf, sunniyet kibbeh (a meat pie of sorts made with ground wheat), Chinese food (but only in Nigeria, haven't been to China yet), Suya (Nigerian), steak, fries and salad, sayyadiyeh (fish and rice, Lebanese) and Sakura (Japanese steakhouse nearby). Now I'm hungrier.

A perfectly cut, perfectly prepared steak has to be my favorite. Hard to find though. (Lately a local Outback Steakhouse has the most consistent excellent steak [and delicious potato soup too.] A steakhouse in Herzlia Israel is also excellent and has amazing onion rings to boot--can't remember the name, but it's the more informal one, the formal steakhouse in that town has horrible food.) Pizza is number 2 on my list (sans mushrooms, almonds, anchovies and various other vile things put on top.) With a few breaks, I've been making homemade pizza every Sunday for over 30 years. (A pizza place in Glendale, California in the mid-80s was excellent, but they are sadly no longer in business. Papa Johns and Little Ceasars are vile. Dominoes used to be okay, but they changed their recipe for the worse. Pizza Hut is very inconsistant, varying from good to horrible, sometimes at the same location.) Easy over eggs with toast and sausage links is number 3. A little restaurant in Nephi, Utah makes the best. I'm also always on the hunt for good cream of brocolli soup, but it's very hard to find. (Note the trend: the best food I've had is at obscure, out-of-the way places that are not exactly on the daily visit calendar.)

Where do I sign? :-D Dark chocolate... yum... I've got part of a half gallon of chocolate ice cream downstairs in the freezer. It's got little chunks of dark chocolate mixed in. The flavor name is "Death By Chocolate". :-O

It means he likes all kind of meat. As well illustrated in this famous Australian dialog: "- I ate some crocodile(*) lately - Awesome, what does it tastes like? - uh... it tastes like chicken!" (*) works with all meat equally well!

That's no answer. Everything tastes like chicken.

Mostly health food stores. The farm store here carries a couple good brands. Can't remember them. We're heading over there later, I'll see if I'll remember to write down the brands. Sadly, I'm on a no sweets / better eating / exercise diet, so I won't be buying any. :( Marc

:-D The chocolate that I can enjoy is Hersey's extra dark (60% coco). Anything else is just too sweet for me.
