La-la Land Advice

I'm flying into Los Angeles tomorrow (Wed) to do a quick presentation to the LA branch of the Structural Engineers Association of Southern California (SEAOSC). I arrive at John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana mid-morning and don't have to be in Monterey Park until 3pm. My presentation should conclude around 8pm. 1. Any recommendations on sites to see in the few hours between 11am and 3pm? 2. Any recommendations on things to do in the evening. 3. Any CPians in the area who would like me to buy them a ?

How can you get voted down for offering to buy someone a beer!?! :wtf: Lame. LA.. so many things to do. Wouldn't know where to start. Where at in LA? Downtown? The valley? Inland? South? 4 hours isn't much time in LA. Would take you that long to get somewhere and back again. Lots to do though. Although its been a few years since I was there.
This statement is false.

Yep. There are too many things to do and 4 hours isn't enough.
