Playing .mvw file + C#

I am using controls at runtime foe palying movie files. a .mvw file opens if i double click it in mediaplayer. but when i am programatically runs the same in a mediaplayer control. it does not. the error is "Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a com component". but when I am using a mpeg file then it runs properly.
